SRI LAKSHMI NARAYANA PUJA @ BRADFORD

• JETUK Yorkshire Team invites you to Sri Lakshmi Narayana Pooja under the guidance of HH Chinna Jeeyar Swamyji. This is the first time ever that an opportunity to participate in a pooja with the direct guidance of Swamyji is occurring in Yorkshire.
• Pooja is the act of honouring, respecting or revering someone.
• Lakshmi or ‘Sri’ is embodiment of kindness and wealth. For example, during Deepavali festivals, prayers are offered to Lakshmi to bestow wealth on us.
• Narayana is the ultimate protector and nourisher of all beings in this universe. Together they are like divine parents, a combination of strength and power combined with a mother’s compassion and love for the children. The aim of this event is to promote peace, prosperity, happiness and well-being everywhere and to everyone.
• With Swamyji’s explanation we will learn not only ‘how’ to do the various steps in a pooja but also ‘why’ we do it that way.
• Children completing Prajna modules will display some of their knowledge and entertain you.
• While entry is free, there are opportunities to be Yajamans to participate in Pooja. Places will be allocated on first come first served basis. Please do not miss this opportunity.
