Discourse: REFLECT | REVIVE | REJOICE

By His Holiness Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji

How do we reflect on thousands of years of our heritage? What to take, what to leave, and what to revive for the future? That’s a rich and meaningful question — one that touches the heart of cultural continuity, spiritual identity, and our responsibility to the next generation.

This talk will guide us in understanding:

  • Reflect – On the Wisdom of the Ages: To reflect on our heritage is not simply to study history — it is to listen to the soul of a civilization. Reflection requires honesty without cynicism and reverence without blind imitation. It is a dialogue between the past and the present, with the future listening in. India’s spiritual and cultural legacy spans millennia: the Vedas, Upanishads, the lives of saints like Sri Ramanujacharya, the poetry of Alwars, the architecture of temples, the philosophies of dharma, and the practices of daily discipline and devotion.

  • Revive – The Timeless, Not the Obsolete: From reflection, comes clarity on what to revive. Not everything old is gold, but not everything modern is progress either. Revival is about spirit, not structure — bringing ancient principles into modern relevance.

  • Rejoice – In Living and Sharing a Living Heritage: When we reflect with discernment and revive with purpose, we can rejoice — not in a nostalgic past, but in a living tradition that breathes through us today. To rejoice is to celebrate the grace that flows through our heritage, unbroken and ever-renewing — like the Ganga, flowing from ancient peaks to nourish the plains of the present.

As Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji often says:

“Heritage is not a burden to carry. It is a light to hold, and a flame to pass on.”

Let us come together to reflect, revice, and rejoice our lives towards peace, purpose, and divine grace.

🌼 Discourse:  YUKTHA | YAJNA | YOGA : A Path to Synthesis with the Divine

By His Holiness Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji

How to live Yuktha (regulated), act as Yajna (sacred offering), and walk Yoga (union) toward synthesis with the Omnipresent?

This talk will guide us in understanding:

🔹 Yuktha – Regulated Living: “Yuktha” means balanced, disciplined, and mindful. It invites us to regulate our daily lives, not in restriction, but in rhythm. How do we eat, speak, work, and rest in harmony with dharma?
“Yuktha:ha:ra viha:rasya yuktha cheṣṭasya karmasu…” (Bhagavad Gita 6.17) – Balance in habits is key to inner peace.

Yajna – Offering vs. Just Doing: “Yajna” is not just a ritual fire — it is the spirit of offering, of converting every action into sacred service. Are we just doing things for reward and routine? Or are we offering our work, time, and thoughts as a sacred act?
“Yajna:rtha:t karmaṇo:nyatra loko:yaṁ karma bandhanaḥ” (Bhagavad Gita 3.9) – Actions done without offering bind; offered actions liberate.

Yoga – The Union with the Omnipresent: Meaning: Union—of body, mind, spirit, and ultimately with the Divine. It includes the physical (asana), mental (dhyana), and spiritual (samadhi) disciplines.
Bhagavad Gita 6.23: “tham vidya:d duḥkha saṁyoga viyogaṁ yoga saṅjñitam…”
(Know that which brings the cessation of union with sorrow as Yoga.)

Together, Yuktha (inner readiness), Yajna (sacred offering), and Yoga (divine union) form a complete spiritual path. It is not merely about transcendence, but about transforming ordinary life into a sacred journey—where thought, action, and being align in harmony with the divine. Lets join the discourse of Swamiji for detailed information.
