In our Sampradayam it is universally accepted that everything is part and parcel of the Lord SrimanNarayana and that everyone, including Bhrama, is an agent appointed by Lord SrimanNarayana to carry out specific tasks. In such a setting, one has to lead life by accepting everything as the fruits of his past deeds and has be cognizant of the fact that he is eternally a subservient to Lord SrimanNarayana. As servants, we are obligated to accept whatever the master so desires and if at all we have any requests we lay them before Lord SrimanNarayana’s lotus feet for his consideration.

An application to The Lord, who is also known as Sarva Swantantran – or eternally independent, is considered as per his wishes or based on our past deeds. Mahalakshmi Thayyar, who is the etarnal consort of Lord SrimanNarayana and the mother of all beings, on the other hand does not have any delibrations about granting our wishes. It is for this reason that Mahalakshmi Thayyar is addressed by the Alwars as Mangalangalin Irupidam or the fountainhead of everything auspicious. Even Jagadacharya Ramanuja made his requests through Mahalakshmi Thayyar for he knew that a request made through Mahalakshmi Thayyar would always be fulfilled.

On 26th June 2023, the people of Manchester were unfathomably fortunate to perform the most auspicious Lakshmi Puja, which is known to bestow the participants with wealth, happiness and a healthy life. The day started with the lighting of lamp ceremony and the singing of many beautiful bhajans by the assembled devotees and an array of highly accliamed vedic priests. His Holiness Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji entered the hall as it was resonating to the clamorous singing of the bhajans and spirited chanting of Lord SrimanNarayana’s holy names. Then a mesmerising discourse on the glories of Mahalakshmi Thayyar, and her unmatched divine and compassionate qualities was delivered by Swamyvaru. The puja was parallelly conducted by the vedic priests with Swamyvaru highlighting the importance of each aspect of the puja. This was followed by Swamyvaru personally handing over the puja medallions to the yajamans. Along with that, theerthaprasadam was given to all the devotees. The event concluded with a feast of delicious prasadam, which was served to all the devotees.

How to double the Joy?
Joy double when we share it with others. Eg. Gulab Jamun sharing experience with neighbors.

How to reduce the sorrow?
Listening to one’s sorrow will reduce to half. While listening to friend’s sorrow we forget ours and friend reduces his sorrow level to half.

Who give us human life?
God decides when to give human life to soul.

What level of gratitude need to be expressed to God by Human being?
If any person helps us by picking up things that we dropped on the floor then we say Thanks to him. Now to the one who give us this precious and prestigious human life we have full responsibility to show gratitude every movement of our life.

Relation between body and Soul. how it changes and why?
Soul will not die. If we keep body and its actions then only it prefers to stay in body. Otherwise it prefers to change the body.

Where is god actually? How is god within us?
God is within us in the form of Soul.

How to think about god every movement?
Every activity that we do it for ourselves feel like we doing it to God within us.

What is our capacity of time to pray god?
Doing our own work as a service to god will increase our puja capacity to 24 hours.

Why we should daily brush, bath, wear clean and full clothes?
Now when we god is within us, the way to enter him to our body is from the mouth. Similarly it is also important to bath every day and keep our body clean. Not covering the full body with clothes is equivalent to body of corpses.

What happens when we do puja at puja room in house?
Puja in puja room at house helps to benefit the family. It is also a recharging station for human life.

What happens when we do puja at temples?
Puja at temple benefits the total society.

Why should we wear tilakam?
Goddess Lakshmi and Gowri will reside in Tilak on our face.

What is the simple procedure of doing puja physically and mentally?
Physically puja is puja to Archa murthi (God as Deity)
Mentally puja is puja to Antaryami (God within us)

Practically puja need to be done with love and devotion in following steps:
Keep all image or idol of Ista deva or Devi ready. Then puja samagri like kumkum, turmeric, Akshathalu, deepam, vastram, puja utensils, flowers, fruits etc ready.
Achamaniyam- purifying. We need to take three sips of water and chants the following mantra to invoke our own purity of body, mind, and spirit. Oṃ Acyutāya Namaḥ Oṃ Anantāya Namaḥ Oṃ Govindāya Namaḥ

How can we do puja in mind grandly without spending single penny?
When we are performing puja to God within us mentally, we may imagine offering all the beautiful and wide varieties of flowers, fruits, food, jewelry, ornaments etc to him with love and devotion.

What happens to the food we offer to god and after offering how it turns to prasadam?
The food may contain ego etc. when this food is offered to God, egos are absorbed by God and food becomes Prasadam.

How the food feeding process to our children softens their hearts and fill the love?
If we always serve food to kids with love and hands instead of spoons then kids tends to respond us softly.

Why Aarati is given to God and how we need to see it?
Aarati is offered to God for removing the evil eye fallen on him. Just like we do to our babies and children.

What kind of desires we need to ask God?
God is within us and he know well what is needed. But we ask for things for world peace and blessings for all creations. So we may pray as below

Swasti prajabhya paripala yantam
Nyayena margena maheem maheesah
Go-Brahmanebhyah shubhamastu nityam
Lokah samastah sukhino bhavantu.
Kale varshantu parjanyah
prithivi sashya shalini
Deshoyam kshoba rahitah
