Highlights of the day

Tholi Ekadashi and Periyalwar Thirunakshatram were celebrated on 29 June 2023 and it was also the day JETUK chose for its Sri Vishnu Sahasranama Parayanam event. The event took place in Vaishnav Sangh Hall, Harrow. Despite it being a work day, the hall was completely packed with devotees well before the scheduled start of the event.

The event started with a beautiful bhajan, which was followed by the lighting of the lamp ceremony. A mass chanting of the Sri Vishnu Sahasranama by the devotees along with Swamyvaru then commenced. A spiritually supercharged atmosphere was experienced by all the devotees present at the venue after the mass chanting and it felt as if Sri Sudarshana along with Lord SrimanNarayana’s other close associates had made their way into the venue.

Swamyvaru then led the devotees into a trance with another spellbinding discourse in which His Holiness covered diverse aspects ranging from the Mahabaratha to the 4000 DivyaPradabams. His Holiness also explained how a set of verses from the Sri Vishnu Sahasranama can be tailored to each individual based on their planetary birth chart. A Q&A session followed where the floor was opened to the devotees for them to clarify their doubts and to ask Swamywaru anything that they were unsure of regarding spiritual matters. The evening ended as if it were a fleeting few minutes when in reality we had an opportunity to be in close association with Swamyvaru for over 4 hours.

After the event an array of delicious Ekadashi prasadam was served to all the devotees.
