Netra Vidyalaya provides Education for the blind in India and is a part of the Jeeyar Educational Trust (JET) founded by HH Sri Sri Sri Tridandi Chinna Srimannarayana Ramanuja Jeeyar Swamiji.
Netra Vidyalaya includes education from primary level to high school to junior & senior college, for the visually challenged where hundreds of students are benefiting every year.
Netra Vidyalaya is unique in that students are trained to write their Intermediate board and Degree exams on laptops without the help of scribes (helpers). This is first in India where the state government recognized and permitted the students to write on laptops.
JET provides FREE education, boarding, lodging, food, study material etc.., to blind students of all communities irrespective of religion, caste, colour and gender.
