Once again Happy Durmukhi Na:ma Samvatsaram and Vasanta Navratri to all the bhagavadh bandus and once again a BIG THANK YOU for attending the event and making it mode spiritual.
With the mangalashasanams of Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji Team JETUK celebrated Ugadi and Vasanta Navratri by chanting Sankshepa Ramayanam all the 9 days and broadcasted on our website www.jetuk.org/live. The occasion was celebrated at 3 venues on the following dates:
1. West London (Isleworth) 16th April 2016,
2. East London (Eastham) 23rd April 2016 &
3. South London (Bromley) 24th April 2016
It is with great pleasure that Team JETUK is able to announce that during the holy week of Sri Rama Navami, Sri Sita Rama Kalyanam was celebrated with the divine blessings of Srimannarayana along with the mangalashasanams of Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamij. This is the 7th consecutive year that JETUK and bhagavadh bandus in UK have been able to participate in this divine event. The priest Sriman Ramacharya Makloori Swami from Jeeyar Ashramam, Shamshabad, performed all the rituals as per the shastras much to the enthrallment of the devotees present.
Kalyanam started with chanting of Shanti Mantram & Sankalpam and progressed with the following activities as per our Vedic system.
– Vishwaksena Ara:dhana,
– Punayahava:chanam & Rakshabandhanam,
– Yegnopave:tha da:rana,
– Kanyavarana & Pa:dha praksha:lanam,
– Vastra samarpanam & Mangalastakamulu,
– Ji:lakara bellam & Kanya: da:nam,
– Maha: sankalpam & Go:bhu:hiranya:salagrama da:na:lu,
– Ma:ngalya da:rana &Talambralu,
– Ma:la Marpidi, VaranaMairam & Mangala:shasanams.
All devotees partook in this divine event and had a wonderful darshan of the divine couple Lord Rama & Sita and then had the divine prasadam which was followed by cultural activities. Devotees relished the cultural activities very much and devotees as young as performed in various cultural activities including the chanting of slokas and involving in traditional cultural dances. The holy presence of the Sita pirati and Yogita purasha Sri Ramachandra was felt at the venue. The event concluded with felicitation of all participants and vote of thanks to all Bhagavadh bandus. It is with the dedication of our volunteers and the service attitude of devotees the event was performed so successfully.
