- rice – 2 cups
- water – 3 cups
- cumin seeds- 2 tsp
- caraway seeds – 2 tsp
- salt to taste
- ghee – 2 tsp
- asafoetida- a pinch
- In a sauce pan, place the ghee and heat it at medium high heat. Once, hot add the cumin seeds, caraway seeds and asafoetida let it fry for a minute.
- Wash the rice and add it to the cumin tempering above and fry for a minute and add the water and salt to it and cook the rice on medium heat.
- When the rice is cooked mix it well and transfer it in a serving bowl.
- Serve the rice with raita or chole or rajma to Krishna and enjoy His prasadam.
