Dear all Devotees, Team JETUK invites you for the Krushnashtami Celebrations. This is the day the Lord Krushna Appeared on this earth and this day is celebrated with great fervor and zeal across the world. Please join us in the celebrations.
Date & Time: 09 Sep 2023, from 6pm onwards (actual Krushnashtami is on 7th Sep 2023)
Event Schedule: Arrival by 5:45pm
6:00 to 6:15 – Bhajans
6:15 to 7:15 – Competitions (Costume, Sloka Recitation and Story or Character telling)
7:15 to 8:00 – Discourse and Krushna Ashthoththara Na:ma:vali
8:00 to 8:20 – Cultural programs (Singing and Dancing)
8:20 to 8:35 – Prize distribution to the participants
8:35pm onwards prasadam distribution
Venue: Amersham Common Scouting, White Lion Road, Little Chalfont, HP7 9LW.
Competition details: Prizes will be given to the winners.
- Costume competition – you can dress up like Krushna, Gopika, Sathyabhama, Balarama, Kuchela, and other characters related to Krushna.
- Sloka recitation competition – e.g. Krushnashtakam. You need to send your names if you are interested in chanting so that it helps in planning the event. Plesae fill in your interest in this link.
- Story or Character telling- Say few words (1 to 2 mintues) about what you know about Krushna, Arjuna or any related character from Mahabharatha.
At the end we will have the Utti game too. So please don’t miss it.
