I worship poodath alvar who is the leader of thirukkadal mallai (ma:mallapuram) and was born out of a ma:dhavi (spring) flower and who lit the lamp of knowledge to have the vision of the supreme lord.

  • Mudhal (first) azhwars consist of three azhwars all together.
  • Boothath Azhwar is the second amongst the mudal azhwars. He appeared in a Kurukkathi flower.
  • It is said that Bhoodham in Sanskrit means a person who with high calibre.
