Samatha Snanam (Holy Bath with All) during Krishna Pushkaram in the state of Andhra Pradesh. Krishna Pushkaram resembles Kumbha Mela and is a festival of River Krishna, which occurs once in 12 years. The Pushkaram is observed for a period of 12 days and lakhs of people from all sections of society take holy bath in the river.

Coming Friday 20th May it is Lord Sri Narasimha Jayanti.

• Narasimha Jayanti is celebrated on the 14th day of Shukla Paksha(Waxing phase of moon) in Vaisha:kha month.
• Lord Narasimha is the 4th incarnation of Maha Vishnu. Lord Vishnu appeared in form of Narasimha to kill the demon Hiranyakashipu.

Giving is an art. It is a boon. Those who give will gain a lot. Any charity or seva done today will be returned multifold. Lets not miss this auspicious time – Akshaya Thruthi:ya. It is on this day Lord Varaha Narasimha gives a wonderful darshan of His divine body in Simhachalam.
